It’s an Action
Sustainability
Reusing, recycling, and reducing our dependency on non-renewable reserves is the best action we can take to help maintain our environment’s precious resources. Printing for Less, PFL's ecommerce and printing company, is passionate about it. The Livingston, MT, facility is wind-powered, keeping its carbon footprint low. Printing For Less promises that everything we do is as eco-friendly as possible, and we aim to continue leading the printing industry in green practices.
See the Trees and the Forest
PFL and Printing for Less are happy to be part of the PrintReleaf Exchange [PRX], a software platform that empowers businesses to sustain and grow the global forestry system…one print job at a time.
Through integrations with software applications, PrintReleaf measures our customers’ paper consumption. Customers then select where to reforest their consumption through a network of PrintReleaf Certified Global Reforestation Projects.
Print with Peace of Mind
Our Printing for Less manufacturing facility leads the industry in green printing practices. Its average “makeready” (printing and reviewing proofs) is 57 percent less wasteful than the industry standard.
What’s more, the paper and corrugated products we use are made from approximately 50 percent recycled material and are 100 percent recyclable. Printing For Less’s low-energy LED lights cure ink faster, further reducing the carbon footprint. We have also eliminated harsh chemicals that include VOCs (volatile organic compounds).
Feel Good Being Green
The Printing for Less Livingston Headquarters is 100 Percent Wind Powered.
Park Electric Cooperative and Basin Electric Power Cooperative’s “Prairie Winds-Energy in Motion Green Tag Program” make this green initiative possible. The wind energy we support is delivered directly into the electrical grid, reducing the need for energy from fossil fuels.
